Meet Michelle
A short subheading required
Hi, my name is Michelle. I spent the first twenty years of my life on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, living the wild life with my ten siblings. The following twenty years, I have been navigating sand dunes (and sandstorms!) in the Sahara desert—another rugged, but stunning, place to call home.
I’ve been married to a fine English gentleman since 2007, and we have five fabulous young children who all look identical to each other.
I have lived thirteen of these past twenty years in rural areas, with few others who speak my heart language or share my faith and values. These times of solitude have shaped me into someone who appreciates the simple things in life, connection with my Maker, who values knowing and being known, and the space to be still and listen (at least as well as you can with five children living in Africa!).
My passion in working with See Beyond is to walk alongside others; to listen, to notice, to help them find themselves and their Creator in their story. I believe that beauty can come through brokenness and that healing can come as we discover that we are not alone.
I am a certified debriefer and am in the process of getting my ACC Coaching Certification. My husband and I also lead the Navigating Desires and Decisions workshop, having seen it powerfully release our own marriage into breakthrough and deeper intimacy.
In my spare time, I like to make music, create beauty, and enjoy a good cup of coffee. The languages I carry in my tool kit are English, Arabic, French, and Pulaar.
